Wake up call
I hate Saturday and Sunday mornings! Bert and Ernie sleep in, mostly due to being "hungover," whatever that means, and I suffer. I need my morning tuna and I need it on time so as to not throw off my daily schedule. I found this video that helps illustrate some of my techniques to expedite my breakfast in a timely manner.

Christmas bounty
Well another x-mas is here and gone, I just thought I would share pics of my impressive haul. I want to thank everyone that gave this year, the mice, bed and other toys are appreciated. I have also included Bert and Ernie's attempt to make me festive, It's times like this that I really miss my front claws.

Christmas cats sing praise
On the first noel mother Mary was not able to soothe the Christ child. Then suddenly, from the East, appeared the Bethlehem Community College Singing Cat Choir. The new mother motioned for them to come closer and sing their joyous song so that the the little savior might sleep. Listen now to their soothing voices.
St. Mortimer
I am such a good cat, that's because I have donated a large amount of Burt and Ernie's money to black cats in shelters this year. The best part of donating is telling others how selfless I am, and because of me a Christmas miracle happened. The charities are Cat adoption team and House of Dreams Cat Shelter. Wow I am such a selfless cat. $$$$

Birds of a Feather
You have probably guessed by now one of my passions in life is bird watching. I have two seed feeders, one suet block and one humming bird feeder. These feeders line the urine soaked ally mentioned in a previous post. Although this ally is a cinder block and asphalt canyon, many different varieties of birds visit my feeders, I have even had a red-tailed hawk looking for something taster than seeds.

Socks for President
In these uncertain times we need real leadership! We need a leader with experience, one that can properly bury the big pile of crap the current administration is leaving. We need a leader that can look adversity in the face and bat it square in the eye. That is why I would like to nominate Socks Clinton for President. Socks has the sensibility and healthy coat this country so desperately needs. This amazing cat has two terms of political experience and more importantly, 16 years of being a cat. I believe this candidate will gain the trust and respect of this fine country, "except the catholics who don't support his views on spaying and neutering."

Golden Showers
Would you like to see my etchings
My gut feeling when I came across this picture was that a bellybutton can't fully capture the glory that is a cat sphincter.
I, as most cats, am very proud of my butt, and not too shy to let it be known. I often express this pride by strutting about with my tail in the air so my ass can be enjoyed by all. The artist may have failed to do it justice, but any media spreading cats superiority is pure genius!

Urban Fauna
Being the fur baby of two gay men I receive lots of gifts,"as I should". This means that many pet shops are visited on a weekly basis, the least favorite being Urban Fauna in the North park blocks. This store is lacking in variety, and what they do have is overpriced compared to other pet stores in the city.
The owner of the store is not the most helpful person, she goes about her business unconcerned with costumer's needs. The Pearl District in general is lacking when it comes to cat merchandise, you would think humans living in little boxes stacked in towers would have more cats. On a scale of one to four hair balls this store gets only a dry hack.
