No Need for Soup Lines

This weekend I visited the vet for my six month check up. Nothing major to report, my heart is still a ticking timebomb and I received a Distemper shot.
There was mention in passing that I'm overweight! In this tenuous time with the dollar failing and the word "recession" on everyone's lips, can one be too fat?
I feel that by selling my portfolio and reinvesting in the fat surplus I can live off this resource when food is scarce. When every thing goes to hell, I will have enough fat that I can just set back and watch the humans fight over potatoes.
