One holiday down, one to go! The tree is gone and I miss it so much, in the short time I had with it (I named her Tina), I grew to love her delicious needles and all the great hiding spots. But life goes on, and I'm sure the empty spot in my heart will be filled with a paper bag.
I received two mice from Ernie's mom, suspiciously the packaging said there should be three mice... It seems one of my country cousins must not have learned that its better to give than receive.

Arctic Blast 08
We have six inches of snow with five more on the way! I don't know if any of you are familiar with Portland, but its not supposed to snow this much. Now to make things worse, my regular cat litter is out of stock at the neighborhood purveyor, the only store in the city that sells it. For the moment, I'm using an inferior product, one of those litters that clumps, very sad and icky. I usually use The Ultimate Cat Litter and I love it, but due to the weather I have to slum it and use the Arm and Hammer. Any litter preferences out there?

Tastiest Time of The Year
Winter definitely has its cons, mainly the cold, and here in Portland the wet (right now more cold than wet). The pros are tasty bows and the tastiest and most entertaining thing of all, the x-mass tree. I love this tree from its tasty lower branches to the prized fragile ornaments of the upper quadrants. I think I'm going to lurk under the bows and pounce the boys.

Winter Blast 08
It's colder than a well digger's chicken in Portland, but luckily its warm by my heater.
Burt has been busy trying to keep the hummingbird feeder thawed out. Every hour or so he goes out and replaces the water so the little birds can have food. I would just like to say that I don't get food every hour, but these wild savage birds get to eat, and in plain site of my bed!
I had a little snow experience yesterday, I begged them to take me out just to sniff for a few minutes. I will continue appreciating it from one of my warm indoor perches.
This is yours truly. I call this one "Awe and Wonder"

Winter Break
Yes I'm still alive, sorry for the blogging break but Burt needs all the help he can get with nursing school. It's now winter break and he has successfully completed the first term, only five more to go. I have included a few pic of me touring Burt for the final.
A&E might remember Burt's desk from their Seattle days, note Burt's inspiration in the top right hand corner.
This is me showing Burt the best place for a SQ shot.
