Mortimer s Final Post

Mortimer passed today peacefully on his favorite afghan with both of us by his side. He was a unique cat and will be missed dearly. If you wish to honor Mortimer in some way, donations can be made to the Cat Adoption Team in his name. Thank you all so much for your support over the years.

We are so very sorry to hear that Mortimer is gone. We know he was a special cat, and he had special parents. We know you will always miss him. He couldn't have had 2 better parents in the world.

We did not know Mortimer bot will morn his passing. Loosing those special souls that have given us love and comfort despite their own suffering is so very hard. Share your memories and it will help the healing process.

I just read about Mortimer, and I am so sorry I did not get to know him before he had to go to the Rainbow Bridge. My sincerest condolences to you.

I had an older sister named Pixie. She was a Devon Rex cat, just like me. Pixie went to the bridge at age 13 from Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. It is a very mean disease. Pixie took lasix, atenolol, enalapril and Plavix. And she also loved to have little pieces of bananers for treats.

I hope one day there will be a cure.

We came to give our heartfelt hugs to you both, missing Mortimer so. We didn't know him before, but Teri's precious Bo had HCM too and she lost him in 2005 and the missing him is still so strong. We wish you strength during this sad time and memories of love...

I am very sorry that Mortimer went to the Rainbow Bridge. I didn't know him, but found that he had gone from Camie's Kitties. I have known the pain that you feel now and sympathize deeply.
