Not TLA
Well Pom Pom escaped to be with me (at least I thought that was her motive) but it turns out she's not looking for a relationship right now and expressed this by hissing (a lot!). In the interest of keeping this a family safe blog, I won't translate that into human speak...

We agree with the Meezers, but maybe you should think about an internet romance too. There have been many cats who have successfully found love via the internet.

Do not despair, Mortimer. There are other fish in the sea...or in your case, other cats in the cat blogosphere. I'm sure there are any number of young beauties who'd appreciate attention from a guy such as yourself. Perhaps you should put out a "lonely hearts" ad.
