Broadway Veterinary Portland

The real title for this post should be "Worst Day Ever" but for search reasons I have chosen the Broadway title. This was a bi-annual checkup to keep my Impending Death Syndrome (IDS) in check. It seems that B&E are doing a good job, my BP was 114 and my heart murmur today was level two. That's down from a level three! I still have a thyroid test that comes back Monday, so keep your paws crossed that all is well.

The capture

Cat sculpture on the building, there is also a dog one that drools when it rains.

Peanut the shop cat, The only cat happy to be at the vet!

The weigh in, 13lb

After having my temperature taken (not under my tongue)

Bad doctor art. I've entitled this one "Are You Threatening Me?"

We don't know anything about heart murmurs. We found out this week that Tiki may have one too. Do you take medication for it?

I take 12.5 of Atenolol twice a day and now they are having me take 81mg of baby Aspirin twice a week.

It seems like this was the week for going to the vets. We had to go too. We are glad that yours went well.

Mommy used to take atenolol for blood pressure, so at least they are small pills. The vet wants to keep Tiki all day for tests, so we are getting a second opinion first. Riley was all growly and hissy the next time he went to the vet after staying the day, so we don't want to stress Tiki more than necessary.

Hope you are having a better day back at home!
